SmartLife at the congress ‘Vocational Training in the era 4.0’
AITEX was present at the congress ‘Vocational Training in the era 4.0’ and disseminate SmartLife among the attendants.
The city of Valencia hosted on 17 and 18 May the congress ‘Vocational Training in the era 4.0’, organized by the Ministry of Education, Research, Culture and Sport, the Network of Technological Institutes of the Valencian Community REDIT and sponsored by Bankia, with the aim of strengthening the commitment to professional education in the community.
The event, which took place in the Palau de la Música and attended by more than 500 professors, aims to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge of Industry 4.0 and encourage reflection on the challenges and opportunities for Vocational Training.
It also allowed deepening the concept of Industry 4.0 and know the experiences that already impact on a global level, with special emphasis on the occupation and job skills that are demanded for vocational training students.
During the two days of the conference was attended by REDIT, so experts from the technology centers explained to the audience the great future challenges facing society, such as the aging of the population, food shortages , the improvement of mobility, new ways of manufacturing or environmental sustainability, and how we are trying to solve these problems through innovation.
The regional secretary of Education and Research, Miguel Soler, was in charge of presiding over the opening ceremony of the Congress during which, in parallel, an exhibition was organized with the works of REDIT’s technological institutes.
